Як ви вже бачили в останніх новинах, нещодавно ми опублікували відео на YouTube, що містить перші декілька хвилин гри Ambient.White. Багато хто з вас, напевно, дивується: “Що за маячня?! Де Ambient.Prologue? Що сталося?”.
А от що сталося – Ambient.Prologue’у вже немає. Як вже знає дехто з вас та наші покровителі з Patreon, за цей час затишшя ми змінювали наші цілі. Ambient.Prologue було спочатку заплановано як “демо” з коротким незавершеним сюжетом, аматорського рівня ґеймплей та такою собі якістю – таке я б міг створити й сам у свій час. Але багато чого змінилось минулого року.
Уже протягом року команда ALBD працює разом. Року, сповненому тяжких рішень, численних експериментів та цінних повчальних моментів з розробки ігор та управління командою. Проект, що було заплановано раніше, перетворився на дещо значно серйозніше. З підтримкою броні, допомогою нашої нової відданої талановитої команди та купи досвіду, ми перевизначили ціль та стиль наново. Все заради того, щоб створити гру з дійсно цікавим ґеймплеєм, повністю незалежним, емоційно захоплюючим сюжетом та унікальною красою графіки та звуку; все це з гарною оптимізацією. Ми поставили собі таку планку, досягнувши якої ми зможемо бути гордими за нашу працю, яка має вийти крутезною! Тут ми й зрозуміли, що це вже ніякий не пролог. Це повна перша частинка серії Ambient – Ambient.White!
Більше новин буде у наступному відео, яке ми (напевно) випустимо цього тижня.

Aren’t you worried you may get a copyright strike? Even if it’s technically set in another world with original characters?

That’s the thing, based on the copyright laws we are completely original and there is no reason for us to have any kind of strike.

Has the project been approved by Hasbro ?
With all the efforts put in it, and all the projects you have for it (I read console support wished above), the last thing you’d want is a C&D strike…
The game is unique enough to be rather safe I guess: unique designs; stories; characters… But you never know, one thing looking too similar to the show and it could be over.
Anyway; best wishes, cant wait to play the full game myself 🙂
